Did the Rugby World Cup 2011 deliver the much-hyped financial benefits to the country?Big wads of money coming our way - surely this isn't too far off the image the Government, event promoters and others whipped up in the buildup to New Zealand hosting the world's third biggest sporting event - Rugby World Cup 2011.
In the lead-up to the tournament, which ran from September 9 to October 23, various forecasts were flying around predicting the number of visitors, how much they'd spend and the impact on our economy.
