Auckland-based biotechnology company LanzaTech has won two international awards in the past two days in recognition of its potential for significant market impact in energy alternatives.

 

In the first, the clean energy technology firm has retained its spot in the Global Cleantech Top 100, and has also been named Company of the Year Asia Pacific for 2011.

LanzaTech's second honour has seen it judged to have shown the Best Innovation by an SME (small to medium enterprise) in the global ICIS Innovations Awards 2011.
