AngelHQ is Wellington’s angel network. Founded in 2007 at the instigation of the economic development agency, Grow Wellington, today it has nearly 90 members and has invested $14m in over 45 companies. AngelHQ is known for being a collegial club with active members. It has a reputation for preferring deals with a certain ‘geek’ factor to them, but technology is just one of their preferred areas of investment.
